It has been in the news recently that certain pistachio processing plants are recalling their raw pistachios. This is due to a report released by David Acheson, the assistant commissioner for the Food & Drug Administration, stating that certain raw nuts may be contaminated, among those, raw pistachios. At Alien Fresh Jerky, all our pistachios (flavored and non flavored alike) are roasted.
